1th book: Fragile Big Boy
HIZLI Gazeteci was born at 1980 in humour magazine Curcuna -a bonus comic supplement of music magazine called Hey. Continiously, he has written and drawn and published in daily newspapers Cumhuriyet (for 7.5 years) and Hurriyet (for 2 years) day by day.
He has blow dusts, loved too much and agitated people. He has define matters of discuss like none of other comic strips have done before. It has been subjected in countless articles, news, reportages and many discussions.
In this first book that you hold now in your hand, he is saying "hello" to new readers and meets with old chaps with the first part of his long last story has 745 pages named "Wind Of Change " which is published in Hurriyet at 1995 to 1997.
He's not the same with usual comic heroes. He's not handsome, athletic, brave or warlike. He never get up armed and horsed and proof sexual "power" of Turk to the daughter of Byzantium Ruler. He doesn't try to attract women; even he slip slides away; but lots of women pass over his life anyhow.
His name never be pronounced in stories, everyone calls him as "Speedy Journalist" . But in fact, he's pretty slow. There is no something thiriller in his life; oppositly he lives in a quite boring monotonously life. Like us. Even worse. He has not any of specialties that make a comic hero as "Hero". Just one exception: He has virtue. He's a man that ever success clashing to authority and being loser. He has an obbsession of correctness, extemely principe owner, even hard, unharmonious and cool almost weirdly.
He's bitter-worded, stone-faced, sarcastic and lonely man that scratch the breaking points. He says the last word at start. He's different from other people whose obedient to each challenge. He's a specific hero -even an anti hero in someones idea- because he doesn't same to other comic heroes.
He's an opinion maker in contradiction who both tries to stay alone and moans requiems to his lonesome as on pathes of all marginal heroes since than Gilgamesh who lost inner peace and ask "why?".
You see a man who tired to move and grumbles chronicly that opposite to other adrenalin dependent hyperactive comic heroes. But you never fall into boredom in this still atmosphere. You may be affected from inner pressure of stories. Because he is a single bycycle which run through opposite direction to comic strip convoy which full of artificial stereotypes.
I'm sure that you will love him deeply in every crossing and you will keep these books for your children. I'm warning you, be careful about your friends who want these books borrow for reading for a few days. Because that is a tradition; borrowed HIZLI Gazeteci books never comes back.

NOW I KNOW THE THING THAT CUT A MAN DEEPLY WHO LIVE WHICHSOEVER GEOGRAPHY.
RELATIONSHIPS ALWAYS FINISH WITH ONE EDGED. THIS AN AMBUSH FOR ABANDONED; YOU FEEL PAIN AS TRAPPED AND DRAGGED TO MADNESS.
I USED TO NEED TO SEE THE PAIN THAT LOCATED IN ERDAL'S EYES TO UNDERSTAND THE FILTH OF TEMPTATIONS WITH SOMEONE'S WIFE.
I REALISED THAT THE THING I SUPPOSED LOVE WAS MY PRIMITIVE EGO ITSELF WHICH FIXED IN CHILDHOOD.
